The 15 days Photography Tours and Photo Workshops is an idea by the italian traveler Pietro Celli and the french photographer Nicolas Pascarel president of Fotoasia.org.

This combination of a 7 days workshop and a 7 days tour is designed so that you can combine your passion or particular special interest with an adventure holiday: Workshops are led by Nicolas Pscarel while photography tours are led by Pietro Celli, combining expert advice and tuition with some incredible photo opportunities.

Organization:
workshop: 7 days and 7 nights

Participants in these workshops, limited to 7 people per tour, are free to choose between either black and white or color photos with digital or film camera. They spend 7 days and 7 nights, with safe accommodation facilities, in a total immersion in Ho Chi Minh City’s swirling life (Saigon) as well as in the charming towns of Hoi An or Hué.
Photo Journalism is the main theme of the workshop – participants will focus on developing a storyline using the pictures taken throughout the trip.
The theme of each participant’s narrative will be individually chosen at the beginning of the workshop. The members of the group use to work together to select the final 20 pictures that are the most representative of each photographer’s work. Pictures are to be taken during field excursions as Cartier Bresson use to do it himself. Each day is organized with visits in the field, at daylight or moonlight, at dusk or dawn, according to the needs and inspiration of the group.
We aim to build-up a close-knit group with a common vibe shared between the instructor and all of the participants. This is for the sake of the work which will be done together and for the sake of friendship. It is very important that the participants of the workshop live in the same place in order to maintain a united group and promote sharing of ideas – the aim is to explore the different backgrounds and photographic styles of the participants with a common goal and passion.

In the company of Pietro Celli, the tour visits some of the most visually stunning sights Vietnam Laos Cambodia and Thailand has to offer for an eye-opening insight into these beautiful countries.
Each day we will be moving on boat, minibus, jeep, train, plane, and truck and we will visit opulent temples, floating markets laden with colourful produce, vividly dressed hill tribes and the swirling life of Bangkok, Saigon or Luang PraBang. Accommodation will be provided in heritage/simple hotels, family guesthouses.
The photography tours Pietro Celli and Nicolas Pascarel promotes are environmentally friendly and socially responsible. Local people are true partners in helping to develop programs and activities.
